The problem
Transcendent Active is an established activewear brand with an identity customers already recognize. The store needed a clearer shopping experience, and routine content updates needed to be something the founder could manage.
The goal was a store that still felt like her brand, and one she could keep current without calling a developer for every change.
What I did
I led discovery with the founder, produced wireframes, and set the design direction for the refresh.
I built the custom Shopify theme and the merchant-managed content behind it, then walked the founder through running it before launch.
The brand identity and its assets came from the Groove Street branding agency. My job was to evolve how that brand worked in the store, not to replace it.

Decisions that mattered
Evolve the brand instead of resetting it
Customers already knew the look. I kept the existing identity and focused the changes on navigation, product presentation, and how quickly someone could get from a collection to the right size.
Put recurring content in the founder’s hands
Homepage reels, product FAQs, and size charts moved into Shopify metaobjects. They are edited in the Shopify admin like any other content, and the theme renders them automatically.
Build reusable shopping components
Product cards, quick-buy, filtering, and the cart drawer were built once and reused across collections, so the store behaves the same way everywhere.

What was delivered
- Custom Shopify theme
- Collection filtering and a consistent product grid
- Product cards with stock badges, ratings, and quick-buy
- Cart drawer
- Merchant-managed homepage reels
- Reusable product FAQ section
- Size charts managed as content, added after launch
What can be shown
The theme went live in August 2026.
A launch-day check of 139 live pages, covering the homepage, collections, products, content pages, and search, found no pages that failed to render properly.
In a pre-launch walkthrough, the founder added a new homepage reel herself.
This case shows a complete launch and a workflow the founder can run. It does not claim any change in sales.
